These Terms govern your use of CrewSocials. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use CrewSocials.

1. Membership & Eligibility

  • CrewSocials is intended for airline crew and related aviation professionals.
  • CrewSocials may verify employment, airline affiliation or crew status at any time, including by requesting documentation.
  • CrewSocials may approve, reject, restrict, suspend or ban accounts at its sole discretion.
  • Membership is a privilege, not a right. Access may be withdrawn at any time.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Your conduct, online and offline.
  • Your communications with other users.
  • Activities you create.
  • Activities you attend.
  • All interactions with other users.

CrewSocials does not verify the accuracy of user profiles, identities, qualifications, employment status or any other representations made by users. You should exercise your own judgement when interacting with other members.

3. Acceptable use

  • No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, sexual content, threats or impersonation.
  • No solicitation, spam, scams, fraud or unauthorised commercial promotion.
  • No sharing of another person's private information without consent.
  • No illegal activity or content that breaches your airline's confidentiality rules.
  • No dangerous, abusive or operationally unsafe conduct.

4. Activities & Meetups

CrewSocials acts solely as a platform connecting users. CrewSocials does not organise, host, supervise, monitor, endorse, inspect or guarantee any activity, meetup, event, venue, host, participant, transportation arrangement, accommodation or third-party service listed, arranged or discussed on the platform.

Users participate in any activity or meetup entirely at their own risk. You are responsible for assessing the suitability and safety of any meetup, host, venue or other participant before participating.

5. No Liability for Meetups

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewSocials, its officers, employees, contractors and affiliates are not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim or expense arising out of or in connection with any activity, meetup or interaction between users, whether arranged through CrewSocials or merely discussed within CrewSocials, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or death
  • Assault, harassment or misconduct by other users
  • Theft, fraud or property damage
  • Disputes between users
  • Alcohol-related incidents
  • Transportation incidents or accidents
  • Diving, surfing, hiking, excursions, sports or adventure activities
  • Any other accident, incident or loss whatsoever

6. Host Responsibility

Activity hosts are independent users. Hosts are not employees, agents, representatives or contractors of CrewSocials. Hosts are solely responsible for the activities they organise, including compliance with applicable laws, permits, safety requirements and insurance.

7. Third-Party Experiences (Viator & others)

CrewSocials may display travel experiences, tours and activities provided by third-party partners such as Viator. CrewSocials is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking provider.

All bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, disputes, injuries, accidents and customer service issues relating to such experiences are solely between the user and the applicable third-party provider and are governed by that provider's own terms and conditions. CrewSocials makes no representation or warranty regarding the quality, safety or legality of any third-party experience.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

CrewSocials may receive commission or referral compensation when users purchase products or services through affiliate links displayed within the platform. This is at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not constitute an endorsement of any product, service or provider.

9. Content Moderation

CrewSocials may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Remove or hide any content
  • Warn, restrict, suspend or ban users
  • Investigate reports, including reviewing messages and activity context
  • Escalate matters to law enforcement where appropriate

10. Account Termination

CrewSocials may suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Safety concerns affecting users or the platform
  • Violation of these Terms, the Privacy Policy or the Community Guidelines
  • Fraud, abuse or misrepresentation
  • Loss of eligibility (no longer crew / aviation professional)
  • Any conduct harmful to CrewSocials, its users or third parties

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant CrewSocials a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within the platform so it can be delivered to other members and used for moderation and safety purposes. You are responsible for what you post.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewSocials disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. CrewSocials will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrewSocials from any claim, liability, damage or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your conduct at meetups or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction unless local mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
