Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Version 2.0 · Effective 7 October 2026 · Last updated 7 October 2026

Draft: company registration details are still being added.

These Terms are a contract between you and Crew Socials ("CrewSocials", "we", "us") for use of the CrewSocials app and website (the "Platform"). By creating an account you accept them. Please also read our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

  • Member: a person with a verified CrewSocials account.
  • Content: anything members post, including profiles, photos, messages, activities, tips and hearts.
  • Third-Party Providers: businesses we do not control, including Activity Operators, Experience Providers, Ticket Providers, Travel and Event Providers, Third-Party Booking Providers and Affiliate Partners (currently Musement; others may be added).
  • Meetups or Activities: gatherings organised by members through the Platform.

2. Eligibility and crew verification

You must be 18 or over and currently work as airline crew or in a related aviation role. We verify membership mainly through airline email domains and may ask for more information, reject or pause any registration, and re-check eligibility at any time. Verification confirms an email domain; it is not a guarantee of anyone's identity.

3. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, use one personal account, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure.

4. Licence to use the Platform

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not try to:

  • harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against or impersonate anyone;
  • post illegal, infringing, sexual, violent, hateful or misleading content;
  • share other people's personal data, rosters or security-sensitive crew information without permission;
  • spam, advertise, solicit or use the Platform commercially without our written permission;
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the Platform or its security;
  • get around verification, restrictions or bans, or abuse promotions or referral rewards;
  • manipulate hearts, tips, rankings or reports.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of your Content. You confirm you own it or have permission to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes (such as resizing), display and distribute your Content to operate, secure, improve and promote the Platform. The licence ends when your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or for a pending case, and Content others have already shared with you in a chat.

7. Moderation, restrictions and appeals

Our approach is designed to support applicable EU platform and content-moderation requirements. Anyone can report a member, message or activity in the app. Trained moderators review reports; automated signals may flag accounts but serious decisions are checked by a person. Depending on severity we may remove Content, warn, limit features, restrict, suspend or close accounts, or reject registrations. Grounds include breaking these Terms or the Community Guidelines, fraud, harassment, impersonation, false identity, scraping, commercial misuse, abuse of promotions, illegal activity, or behaviour that creates safety or legal risk. We tell you what we decided and why, unless the law or safety prevents it, and you can appeal from the account status screen or by email. You may also use any out-of-court or court remedy available to you.

8. City Guides, recommendations and crew tips

City Guides are curated by us, partly with the help of AI tools, and combined with crew tips and information from outside sources. They are for discovery and general information only. Opening hours, prices, availability and conditions change; please check important details with the venue or provider. A recommendation is not a guarantee, warranty or safety assessment.

9. Third-party activities and bookings

CrewSocials is a discovery and referral platform. We display, curate, rank, describe and link to activities, tours, tickets, venues and services offered by Third-Party Providers. Unless the Platform clearly says otherwise, we are not the seller, organiser, operator, carrier, venue, tour operator or ticket issuer. When you tap a booking button you leave CrewSocials, and any booking is a contract directly between you and that provider under their terms, cancellation, refund and privacy policies. Their checkout shows the final price, taxes, fees and conditions, which take priority over anything shown in our app. The provider is responsible for delivering the activity, its safety, customer service, changes, cancellations and refunds.

10. Affiliate relationships

We may earn a commission or referral fee when you book through a link on the Platform. This does not increase the price you pay. Some listings may involve a commercial relationship; that does not mean an activity is endorsed or guaranteed. Member discounts apply only as stated by the provider.

11. Prices and availability

Prices, availability, currencies and descriptions shown on the Platform come from providers or estimates and may change at any time. Currency amounts are provided by the provider in the currency you choose. We do not process payments.

12. Meetups and personal safety

  • We do not guarantee any member's identity, character, employment status, intentions or behaviour, or that a meetup will go ahead.
  • You decide whether, where and how to meet. Meet in public places, tell someone your plans, use your own transport, drink responsibly and leave if you feel unsafe.
  • Hosts must describe activities honestly and must not charge members unless the Platform allows it.
  • You can block or report anyone. We may investigate and restrict accounts, and in an emergency you should contact local authorities first.
  • We are not responsible for members' independent actions, except where our own failure caused the harm or liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Activity safety

Some activities carry real risk, including water sports, boats, paddleboarding, diving, hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling, motorsports, nightlife, alcohol and extreme or physical activities. You are responsible for judging your own health, fitness, experience and equipment, local conditions, and for following the provider's safety instructions, age, medical and other requirements. We are not a safety authority.

14. Travel and entry requirements; no professional advice

You remain responsible for passports, visas, entry and health rules, local laws, your airline's rules and any activity-specific requirements. Nothing on the Platform, including weather and AI-assisted content, is medical, legal, financial, safety or professional travel advice.

15. Intellectual property and copyright complaints

The Platform, its design, City Guides and branding belong to us or our licensors. To report Content that infringes your rights, email privacy@crewsocials.com(tap to email) with the Content's location, the right concerned and your contact details. We act on valid notices promptly.

16. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

17. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided free of charge "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about third-party activities, information supplied by others, or members' conduct. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

18. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for activities, services, products, prices, cancellations, delays, injuries, losses or damage caused by Third-Party Providers, venues, other members or events outside our reasonable control, including weather, transport disruption and force majeure;
  • we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss of profit, business, opportunity or data;
  • our total liability to you for all claims in any 12 months is limited to €100, as the Platform is free.

19. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you will compensate us for reasonable losses and costs resulting from Content you post or your breach of these Terms. This does not apply where consumer law prohibits it.

20. Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts as described in section 7. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 6, 15, 18 and 22) survive closure.

21. Changes to these Terms

We will tell you about material changes before they take effect and ask you to accept them. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Courts in Spain have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

23. General

These Terms, the Community Guidelines and the policies they mention are the entire agreement between us about the Platform. If any part is invalid, the rest still applies. We may transfer these Terms to a successor business with notice to you; you may not transfer them. Failing to enforce a right is not a waiver. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
